The application of solder tape in PV modules is mainly divided into interconnection solder tape and convergence solder tape. Interconnection PV ribbon mainly includes conventional flat PV ribbon, MBB PV ribbon, low temperature PV ribbon, low resistance PV ribbon, shaped PV ribbon, etc.; convergence PV ribbon mainly includes conventional convergence PV ribbon, punching PV ribbon, black PV ribbon, bending PV ribbon, etc. At present, the mainstream PV ribbone products on the market are MBB PV ribbon for multi-gate modules, with a diameter of 0.28~0.35mm, which is thinner than the previous 5BB conventional flat PV ribbon, which is conducive to reducing cell shading and using sunlight more effectively, while increasing the number of main grids is conducive to shortening the lateral collector path of cells, reducing series resistance and reducing the power loss of cells.
